Construction progress of mum's new home

The construction of mum's new settle place was officiated on 20,Oct,07... that was the day father and myself had a little praying ceremony, together with the sub-con, at the site.

I visited the site this afternoon (4,Nov,07) to check out on the work in progress. They have completed the foundation concreting. Below are some photos taken during the visit.

The 'front view' of the construction. It was raining heavily in KL... but thanks for mum's blessing, it was a fine day in Nilai Memorial Park. Notice the dark cloud building up in the background... but sun is shining behind me when the photo was taken.

More photos taken at the site today...
The label with mum's name is still in-tact after more than a month of exposure to tropical sun and rain.

This photo was taken to check on the 'levelling' of the concrete (the camera was not levelled also... you can use other constructions at the background as reference)... and i found that it was not perfectly levelled. I saw the 'supervisor' of the construction, a Chinese called Ah Yap, not far away from the site. After checking with him... he assured me that perfect levelling will be observed after the final round of sanding, cementing, and touch-up.

The opening for plant. Notice PVC pipe was inserted for drainage.

Another opening for plant, again, PVC pipe is there for drainage.

A closer view of the concrete platform... notice the 'step' in the middle of the platform.

View from the 'back' of the site.

Another view from the back.
